NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Our PAHO and World Health Organization Representative Dr. Eldonna Boisson did not mince words on Friday when she spoke to reporters about the impact falling behind on childhood vaccinations has had on The Bahamas. 

She said one of the biggest concerns is the potential return of polio to our shores.

And Boisson says the patriotic and celebratory energy of our upcoming golden jubilee of Bahamian independence is a perfect motivator to get yourself, and your children protected, telling Bahamians it’s time to “do this for the country”.
