ANTIGUA & BARBUDA – The polls are closed in Antigua and Barbuda as residents voted in the 2023 general elections that began at 6am, Wednesday.

Registered voters totaled 60,916 across 16 constituencies in Antigua and one in Barbuda.

Harold Lovell, leader of the United Progressive Party, is seeking to oust incumbent Prime Minister Gaston Browne, who is seeking his third term in office.

Fifty-three candidates are contesting the election from four political parties and there are three independent contestants.
