Potters Cay Vendors: I’m Very Happy They’re Assisting Us

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Christmas has come early for those four stall owners who lost their establishments as a result of that fire at the Potters Cay Dock about two weeks ago.

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Christmas has come early for those four stall owners who lost their establishments as a result of that fire at the Potters Cay Dock about two weeks ago.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Marine Resources announcing that thousands of dollars will be given to those owners to assist in the rebuilding of those stalls.

Also helping out is Premier Importors.

The ministry also committed to implementing preventative measures, strengthening safety protocols along with conducting regular inspections and training for the fishing industry.

Something President of the Potter’s Cay Dock Food and Vegetable Vendors Association President Ormanique Bowe is on board with.

Winston Beckles has been at the dock for over 25 years. He says the relief is much needed.
