NASSAU, BAHAMAS – As officials stationed at the Treasure Cay Airport continue to work out of trailers, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister Responsible for Aviation, Chester Cooper says the public-private partnership process will begin in the coming weeks.

The terminal was destroyed in hurricane Dorian and nothing has been done since.

The airport is used as the primary point of entry for second homeowners and others coming to North Abaco, mainly Treasure Cay and Green Turtle Cay.

Recently, North Abaco MP Kirk Cornish said Cooper informed him that the focus is on Grand Bahama’s airport and the sale of the Grand Lucayan Resort.
