PPP’s Could Be Key To Climate Financing

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Public-private partnerships between the government and the insurance industry could help strengthen climate resiliency and confidence in potential investors, according to IDB Executive Jordan Schwartz.

Just last month, members of the Bahamas Insurance Association expressed a desire to have a seat at the table when it comes to the country’s development.

Public-private Partnerships and investing in prevention came up often at the press conference after the Climate Finance in the Americas Meeting.
