U.S.A. – Led by their high powered offense, the Boise State Broncos continue to rise in the national rankings, and Prince Strachan continues to take on a bigger role.

Early in the second quarter, Broncos quarterback Maddux Madsen, connected with the sophomore receiver on a crossing route for the score.

NFL

While his younger brother reached a career milestone in college football – Michael Strachan has another shot at the NFL.

Strachan recently signed with the Washington Commanders practice squad.

The fourth year vet hopes to officially join a Commanders offense that has been one of the surprises of the NFL season thus far.

Led by rookie sensation quarterback Jayden Daniels, the Commanders are ranked eighth in passing yards per game and fifth in yards per pass.

Strachan spent the preseason in camp with the Carolina Panthers, but was waived in August after playing 54 preseason snaps and catching one pass.

He finished the 2023 regular season with one catch on three targets for 45 yards in four games.

Originally a seventh round pick by the IndianapolisColts, Strachan has six catches for 130 yards in 23 regular-season games across three seasons.

We’re accustomed to Kristian Robinson’s most notable tool to be his power at the plate but he’s added another in the Arizona fall league.

The 6’3″ 200 pound outfielder is still hitting .320 with 7 rbi, but perhaps the most surprising stat – he’s also leading the league with seven stolen bases.

The Arizona Diamondbacks prospect had just 4 stolen bases this season in aa baseball with the Amarillo Sod Poodles.

To take a deeper dive into the analytics, statcast measured robinson with the fastest run on the basepaths in the arizona fall league at 31 feet per second.

For context, Kansas City Royals MVP candidate Bobby Witt Jr. led all MLB players in that category this season at 30.5 feet per second.

Through 14 games in the AFL, Robinson also has a .414 on base percentage, and is slugging .460 with an .874 ops.
