GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – With over 300 hundred employees, the My Beautiful Grand Bahama program has provided Grand Bahamians with valuable work experience across various industries throughout the island.

One of their recent initiatives involves a thorough cleanup of the West Grand Bahama community, one of the largest communities on the northern island.

Some of the individuals involved in this meaningful work are now sharing their experiences.

And although the task may appear small to some, employee O’Brian Rolle emphasizes that it involves a considerable amount of effort and dedication.

Employee Cedrick Wright believes the effort has helped to curb crime in the community and says he’s committed to his job

Employee Shanika Coburn, a mother of five who was previously unemployed before joining the program, shares her perspective calling it an honor to give back to the community she’s from.

And for Donna Charlton, her job is a blessing. She says she’s seen many lives change because of the program.
