NASSAU, BAHAMAS – State Minister for the Public Service Pia Glover Rolle said “rape is rape” in a panelist discussion on “Gender Balance in Politics”.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – State Minister for the Public Service Pia Glover Rolle said “rape is rape” in a panelist discussion on “Gender Balance in Politics”.
Other panelists included Former Attorney General Allyson Maynard-Gibson, Free National Movement Senator Michela Barnett-Ellis and Former Senator Jennifer Isaacs Dotson.
One of the issues discussed was the new proposed sexual offences legislation, more specifically, marital rape.
The panel discussion at The University of The Bahamas was hosted by the local chapters of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority.
