RBDF Commissions Four New Vessels
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – As the government prioritizes safety, Acting Prime Minister Glenys Hanna-Martin announced the commissioning of four new 41-foot SAFE boats, custom-built vessels costing over $4.6 million, that can travel from New Providence to Inagua without refueling, reach speeds of 40 knots, and strengthen the Royal Bahamas Defence Force’s ability to combat evolving maritime threats.
