NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Mammograms can save lives. It’s why REV has partnered with a local clinic to make it easier and more affordable for customers to get screened for Breast Cancer.

Giorgio Bain tells us more.

Khandi Gibson and Paulette Mackey were among REV customers taking advantage of the mammograms offered at a discounted rate. They told us they firmly believe that early detection saves lives.

Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women and the second leading cause of cancer deaths of women in the Americas.

According to PAHO, more than 462,000 women are newly diagnosed and approximately 100,000 women die from breast cancer each year.

Head of Radiology at the Walk-In Clinic Collins Avenue, Patrona Robertson showed us the facility’s newest mammogram machine.

Thanks to new technology, she said results can be received in 24 hours and the process is less painful.

REV Marketing Manager M’khel Ferguson urged other REV customers to take advantage of this potentially life-saving offer this month.

Head of Residential Sales And Customer Loyalty Rory Major said this initiative is all about giving back to the community.
