UNITED STATES – First base Coach Antoan Richardson and his Atlanta Braves got the 6-3 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Mauricio Dubon had himself a night, going 2-4 with an RBI single and a two-run home run.

Richardson’s outfield mentee Ronald Acuña also went 2-4 with a couple of singles and an RBI.

Jazz Chisholm and his New York Yankees fell 5-3 to the Boston Red Sox in their big rivalry matchup.

The Jazz man went 1-4 with a single.

Then down in the minors, BJ Murray went 1-5 with a single as his Iowa Cubs lost to the Toledo Mud Hens 8-4.

Bahamas U-14 Baseball Team Falls to Venezuela, Rebounds Against Ecuador

The tournament started off with The Bahamas losing to Venezuela 11-1, but they bounced back later in the night for a dominant 12-0 win over Ecuador.

Those matches bookended an 8-2 win by Puerto Rico over Curacao and a 7-3 win by Aruba over Colombia.

Women’s Soccer Semifinals Kicking Off

The Bahamas Football Association’s Women’s Knockout Cup is all locked and loaded.

The semifinals should have started a couple of minutes ago at the Roscow A.L. Davies Field.

On one side of the bracket, Renegades FC is taking on Dynamos, and right next to that match, Cavalier FC is playing United FC.

The winner out of these two matchups will advance to the Knockout Cup Championship for a chance at all the marbles.
