Road Safety Focus Of Upcoming Conference
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Bahamas is set to host the International Road Federation Conference, United Nations’ goal is putting a dent in traffic fatalities.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Bahamas is set to host the International Road Federation Conference. Deputy Director of Civil Work in the Ministry of Works, Damien Francis says putting a dent in traffic fatalities is a United Nations’ goal.
As it relates to improving local roads up to international standards, francis says there are two aspects of the actual road structure.
Francis adds that road safety on the family islands will also be addressed.
Students of the University of The Bahamas have also been invited to attend.
