Rodney Moncur Engaged As Crime Consultant

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A popular talk radio and TV host is heading to the Ministry of National Security as a consultant. His role may or may not surprise you.

There are questions that need answers, according to Former Prime Minister Dr. Hubert Minnis.

Dr. Minnis asked the questions in the House of Assembly, on Wednesday, as he wrapped up his contribution on a compendium of bills on the criminal justice system.

Today, Communications Director in the Office of The Prime Minister, Latrae Rahaming confirming Moncur has been hired as a consultant in the Ministry of National Security.

His role? Helping with community policing.

Rahming says the government’s aim is to help decrease crimes in the inner city community by forging ties with community partners.
