Rubio Departs Vatican After Meeting Pope Leo Amid Tensions With Trump
VATICAN – U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio left the Vatican today after seeing pope Leo for 2 and a half hours, in what was expected to have been a fraught meeting following president Donald Trump’s repeated attacks on the Catholic leader over the Iran war.
