Run-DMC Star Shot After Drug Deal Dispute, Court Told

USA – Run-DMC’s Jam Master Jay was allegedly killed by his godson, Karl Jordan Jr, and Ronald Washington over a drug deal.

That’s according to prosecutors in a New York trial who further allege it was a “greed and revenge” motivated execution.

However, defense lawyers argue their innocence, saying the accused have no knowledge of the murder.

The influential hip-hop pioneer was shot in 2002, and prosecutors suggest his involvement in drug deals led to the crime. The trial is expected to last four weeks.
