Sailor of Bahamian Descent On USS Wasp

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – While taking a tour of the USS Wasp, an American naval ship in port for the next couple of days, Our News learned that one of the sailors aboard the amphibious assault ship was of Bahamian descent.

Lieutenant Trey Adderley has been in service for 10 years, and tells us his family was excited to hear he would be coming back to their roots.

The USS Wasp is only in for a couple of days, having come to host some early American independence celebrations, but Adderley says he already knows what he’s most looking forward to doing while he’s here.
