NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Shell Saxons Superstars are in celebration mode after a three straight Boxing Day Junkanoo win.

“Two of them together couldn’t beat us,” said Shell Saxon Superstars and JCNP member Kendanique Campbell-Moss.

“It was disastrous what they brought to Bay Street for people that have been fighting to come on to Bay Street.”

Campbell-Moss was firing back at critics and competitors who claim the Saxons’ win was made a little bit easier given the drama that saw two Valley Boys factions hit Bay Street this year.

The Shell Saxons Superstars are coming for another win this New Year’s Day after securing a historic three-straight win in the 2024 Boxing Day Junkanoo parade.

Campbell-Moss says the group is feeling humble following the win despite challenges in the run-up to the Boxing Day parade, but she says it took a lot of hard work and preparation.

The Saxons took home best performance, best step-down costume, best off-the-shoulder, best lead costume, and best music.

Campbell-Moss telling us as the group celebrates 60 years of existence, this year’s parade will be special for them.

For the next five days Junkanooers will be hard at work to be ready for the New Year’s day parade.

This year their theme is “Our Triumphant Journey: Celebrating 60 Years Of Historic Achievement.” She had this to say to the competitors who are also looking to steal the top spot this New Year’s Day.
