Security Officers: Pay Me What You Owe Me!

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Security officers in the Ministry of Education braved the wicked weather.

The group of more than 30 school officers say they’ve been working for years without insurance add to that they say they’re owed overtime pay and promotions. 

They say enough is enough.

The group was joined by FNM Deputy Chairman Richard Johnson and attorney Maria Daxon.

The security officers are members of the Bahamas Public Services Union but they claim their president didn’t advocate on their behalf.

They waited outside the Office of the Prime Minister waited in the weather for answers from Education Minister Glenys Hanna-Martin.
