Sherry and Shabo’s Conch Stand is a family-owned business has been in operation for over 40 years.

West End native and Owner Sherica Smith has been taught how to make salads from the age of three.

But making a conch salad takes lots of preparation.

And there are some picky eaters.

Now there’s been debate about whether mayonnaise belongs in a conch salad.

But they don’t only offer conch salad.

On weekends there are sometimes lots of customers. She says she always focuses on making their experience as comfortable as possible.
