Seven Hills Murder: Convicted Killer Gets 25-Year Sentence

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 38-year-old killer has been sentenced to 25 years in prison.

Cornell Cooper learned his fate for the June 28, 2024 murder of Heston Adderley when he appeared before Senior Justice Cheryl Grant-Thompson for sentencing.

Shortly after 10pm, Adderley was in the area of Seven Hills when Cooper approached him and slit his throat with a box cutter.

Adderley tried to walk to his home, but he collapsed near the intersection of Blue Hill Road and Zion Boulevard.

Justice Grant-Thompson ordered that Cooper receive counseling for anger management while in custody.
