Seven Women, Two Man Jury Selected for 2022 Murder Trial
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A jury has been selected in the trial on Donté Deveaux, who is accused of killing a man and seriously injuring another in a 2022 shooting.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A jury has been selected in the trial on Donté Deveaux, who is accused of killing a man and seriously injuring another in a 2022 shooting.
Deveaux is accused of the May 2, 2022 murder of Emmanuel Brown and the attempted murder of Samuel Joseph, otherwise known as Fish.
Both men were shot by a man, alleged to be Deveaux, while they were at an unfinished structure on Seventh Street, The Grove.
A jury of seven women and two men has been selected to decide Deveaux’s fate.
Deveaux, who is on remand, has denied the charges at his trial before Justice Jeanine Weech-Gomez.
