ABACO, BAHAMAS – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism Chester Cooper hit back at criticism over the sale of the Grand Lucayan Resort. 

In May last year, government reveled that Electra America Hospitality Group made a $100 million purchase offer for the beleaguered resort.

However, the deal fell through and the Davis administration is now looking for a new buy for the property. 

Cooper said the Davis administration is considering several developers.
