NASSAU, BAHAMAS – This weekend, the local league is heating up with matches across all divisions.

In the U-18 Boys division, Dynamos FC faced off against Baha Jrs., while Cavaliers FC took on Western Warriors.

The U-18 Girls tournament is also underway with Cavaliers FC going up against United FC, and Baha Jrs. playing against Renegades FC.

Basketball Update:

Friday was a big night for Bahamian athletes on the court. Deyton Albury had 7 points in his Utah State Aggies’ 89-81 win over Fresno State. The Aggies are cruising toward a spot in the NCAA Tournament with an impressive 21-3 record and dominating the Mountain West Conference with an 11-2 league record.

Meanwhile, in the NBAEric Gordon went scoreless as his 76ers fell to the Pistons 125-112.

Tonight, we have a jam-packed schedule with Klay Thompson and the Mavericks possibly featuring new addition Anthony DavisDeandre Ayton and his streaking Trail Blazers, and Buddy Hield joining forces with Jimmy Butler on his team—all in action in the NBA. Plus, there’s more college basketball action on the way.
