NASSAU, BAHAMAS – One day after a man was found with shark bites to his body, beachgoers are split on their concerns. 

While some say more needs to be done, others say shark attacks are few and far between. 

The recent discovery of a dead man on Saunders Beach with what police believe are shark bites sparking fear and concern for any. 

Some are calling for increased surveillance on beaches.

On Monday, police were alerted to the lifeless body of a man on Saunders Beach around 7am. 

Police say the victim had apparent shark bites to the left arm and ear, adding it’s estimated the body may have been floating for up to six hours.
