Shaunae and Devynne Return Home

Gold medalist Shaunae Miller-Uibo and silver medalist Devynne Charlton return home after competing in Belgrade, Serbia.

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Gold medalist Shaunae Miller-Uibo and newly minted silver medalist Devynne Charlton returned home Wednesday after competing in the World Indoor Championships in Belgrade, Serbia.

Shaunae Miller-Uibo placed first in the 400 meters in 50.31 while Charlton placed second in the 60 meter hurdles in 7.81 at the World Athletic Indoor Championships over the weekend.

The duo arrived at Lynden Pindling International Airport (LPIA) Wednesday before being heading off to the House of Assembly to meet Prime Minister Philip Davis and other parliamentarians.

Later at the Thomas A Robinson Stadium, a Junkanoo rushout welcomed them home.

A teary-eyed Charlton and humble Miller-Uibo thanked everyone for their support.
