Sixty-Two-Year-Old Fisherman Accused of Raping 71-Year-Old Woman
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A fisherman is behind bars after he was accused of raping a 71-year-old woman.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A fisherman is behind bars after he was accused of raping a 71-year-old woman.
Prosecutors say 62-year-old Austin Williams raped the woman and indecently assaulted her on September 8.
Williams didn’t have to enter pleas to the charges when he made his first court appearance before Magistrate Abigail Farrington.
Bail was denied and Williams returns to court on January 20, 2026 to receive voluntary bill of indictment papers.
