Trump Praises Tariffs As U.S. Economy Shrinks First Time Since 2022

UNITED STATES – U.S. President Donald Trump praised his tariffs and domestic investment in a cabinet meeting Wednesday, even as new data showed the U.S. economy shrank 0.3% in quarter 1.
