THE BAHAMAS – The BAAA’s National Junior and Senior Championships meet began yesterday.

The best Bahamian athletes came home to compete in front of their friends and families.

One of the most notable performances was Adam Musgrove setting a national U-20 record in the 100m with a time of 10:31.

Terrance Jones Jr, our national 100m record holder won the 100 in 10.15.

Stevie Gardiner also coasted to a victory in the 400m semis with a time of 45.95 seconds.

Randy Shepherd, head of Crossfire Ministries, travels the world teaching about basketball and life.

Coach Shepherd was in Grand Bahama at the Ministry of Sports Basketball SCamp mentoring youth.

Superintendent Wilton Johnson, a police officer and basketball coach with decades of experience mentoring youth, has hosted Coach sShepherd for over 30 years.
