NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 14-year-old student at Anatol Rodgers High School has been charged with attempted murder.

The charge stems from the stabbing of another student, who is also 14, during a fight at the school’s campus on September 12th.

The teen, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was not required to enter a plea to the attempted murder charge when he appeared before Juvenile Court Magistrate Kara Turnquest-Deveaux.

He was remanded into custody at the Simpson Penn School For Boys.

The teen returns to court on December 13th to receive a voluntary bill of indictment.
