JAPAN – Rescue efforts following that earthquake in the Noto Peninsula in Japan continues.

The earthquakes triggered a large fire in Wajima, along with tsunamis and landslides, cutting off routes and raising concerns about communities lacking essential supplies.

The United States pledged $100,000 in aid, including blankets, water, and medical supplies, with more assistance promised.
