Suspect Charged With Murdering Man In Yellow Elder Gardens

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man is behind bars on a murder charge.

Prosecutors say Deontee Dean is responsible for the June 25 murder of Eddie Carrol, who was found dead in the Yellow Elder Gardens community.

Dean didn’t have to enter a plea to the murder charge at an appearance before acting Chief Magistrate Ancella Evans.

Bail was denied, and he returns to court on October 22 for the presentation of voluntary bill of indictment papers to fast-track the case to the supreme court.
