NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man accused of fatally shooting an auto mechanic in his car earlier this month is behind bars on a murder charge.

Prosecutors say 22-year-old Jerron Woodside killed Larenz Johnson at Palm Breeze Drive on November 4.

Officers responding to reports on gunshots met Johnson dead in the driver’s seat of his Kia Soul.

Woodside, a resident of Palm Breeze Drive, was denied bail during an appearance before Chief Magistrate Joyann Ferguson-Pratt. He returns to court on March 2, 2023.
