Swiss Alps: Five Skiers Found Dead, One Missing


SWITZERLAND – The bodies of five missing skiers have been found in the Swiss Alps.

Local authorities are still searching for a sixth person.

Helicopters combed an area near the Matterhorn Mountain in Switzerland Monday to find a missing skier after five other members of the party were found dead after “catastrophic” conditions.

The five cross-country skiers are members of the same family.

The incident is one of the most deadly in the Swiss Alps in recent years.
