GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – Ashell Bain is Tabernacle Baptist Academy’s Principal and last week he announced the lineup for the Tabernacle William Dale Burns Basketball Classic.

Eight teams, including local teams and squads from Georgia and Tennessee, will play in the tournament.

Deputy Director of Sports in the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture Norris Bain was happy to partner with Tabernacle during this very special month.

Soccer
A shorthanded Mingoes squad took on Bears FC in Bahamas Football Association action over the weekend, coming away with the draw.

While he wanted the “W”, Coach Alex Thompson was fine with it as the team was without its best players.
