A Miss Bahamas contestant is opening up about how the loss of a loved one prepared her for the national pageant stage.
27-year-old Chantel O’Brian was crowned Miss Bahamas Universe on Sunday, beating out three other contestants. Her victory was the culmination of several years of preparation.
