GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – Some Grand Bahama residents say they are having challenges with the Special Economic Recovery Zone Order also known as the SERZ order.

At last report, it was said by government officials that all matters will be handled on a case-by-case basis. The Grand Bahama Chamber of Commerce President says he too is aware of the issue and is calling on government to make the process easier for Grand Bahamians as they are still recovering from hurricane Dorian.

The GBCC President James Carey says he understands that the applications have to go to New Providence for approval, which is a major inconvenience.
