NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Turks and Caicos Islands Governor Nigel Dakin says the arrival of the Bahamian police officers as well as support from the United States border and protection has had an immediate impact.
Twenty officers from the Royal Bahamas Police Force were sworn in as constables in the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force last week following a spree of murders over the past two months in Providenciales.
He says the Bahamian officers have already made a difference.
