GRENADA – Team Bahamas sits in second place at the CARIFTA Track and Field Championships.

At the time of this recording, Eagan Neeley won bronze in the boys u-17 400m.

Annae Mackey won silver in the girls’ u20 shotput while Keyezra Thomas came 2nd in the girls’ u-17 400m.

The 242 also won some gold. Brenden Vanderpool won the pole vault, breaking his own CARIFTA national record in the process with a jump of 5.30 meters.

Joshua Williams won the gold u-17 long jump with a bound of 7.03m.

Taysha Stubbs won gold in the u-20 girls’ javelin, with a personal best throw of 50.94 while Vanessa Sawyer picked up the silver.
