NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Bahamas Beach Soccer Team won a thriller in sudden death against Guatemala Monday night. 

Guatemala struck first, scoring a goal with 5 minutes left in the 2nd period before Leslie St. Fleur tied the game up. 

Guatemala scored another goal in the third to go up before Wood Julemis  scored on a clutch header to tie the game and sent it into penalties which would result in a 4-4 tie sending the match into sudden death. 

Gary Joseph connected on the first pk in sudden death and Goalie Michael Butler made the clutch stop to secure the win for the bahamas. 

CONCACAF round robin play continued at the National Beach Soccer stadium Tuesday.

Panama beat the Dominican Republic 8-1. The USA won 6-1 over Trinidad and Tobago, Costa Rica beat Turks and Caicos 6-1.
