NASSAU, BAHAMAS – We met the Burrows family in a time of crisis last Wednesday, just moments after watching their home of over 40 years burn to the ground.

Just hours after sharing their story to our social media pages, even before the full story aired at news time, an anonymous donor stepped forward, offering to replace Larry’s wheelchair.

Deborah was initially without a phone after the fire. But says she was moved to tears when she finally got to see the outpouring of support online.

But on top of the strain of the housefire, Larry is a cancer patient.

The Burrows were saving up for his radiation treatment before the disaster.
