NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Adventures of Koen – Journeys with Bahamian Heroes was authored by businessman Lazar Charlton and recently launched at a special event. It takes little Koen on an adventure to learn about the late father of our nation.

A series he hopes will help parents teach their kids and make learning about our national heroes a whole lot easier.

Bright splashes of color laid out in comic book style, Koen and the late father of our nation are pictured in scenes from his incredible life’s journey. From his time at Kings College University in London in 1950 to his wedding day in 1957. And of course scenes from some pivotal moments in Parliament.

Charlton calls the book a real learning adventure.

And from entrepreneur to now author, Charlton sharing this with me about his journey and how he hopes parents and their kids will engage with the material.
