Out going Long Island Member of Parliament, Adrian Gibson, is one of the several members of parliament that is not seeking re-election.

In a lengthy Facebook post, gibson, thanked his constituents for the two consecutive terms…Saying he’s now focused on personal and professional matters…

Adrian gibson was first elected as the free national movement’s long island member of. Parliament in 2017…Under prime minister hubert mission.

During that term he was appointed executive chairman of the water and sewerage …Where he served until his party’s defeat in 2021…

It’s this post that LED to gibson’s legal troubles.

In June 2022, gibson, along with six others, faced 101 charges of corruption, bribery and money laundering… Allegedly linked to water and sewerage contracts… Valued at over $1.25 million.

He maintains his innocence.
His legal defense LED by the late attorney romana farquahrson, included multiple constitutional challenges to the trial….

Even before the party’s loss, there were signs of trouble.

Throughout his trial, gibson maintained a presence in parliament, speaking on national and constituency issues…
