The Royal Touch Still Feels Fresh As Ever

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – It was amazing to see the K9 team in action. We saw Boomer and Terry’s focus and determination to get their job done, and the dedication of their handlers at the end of it all.

It was heartwarming to see the bond they all share.

But I didn’t only stick to dry land, I also got to visit Atlantis’ famous Dolphin Cay, where I got into the lagoon to get up close and personal with two of the youngest members of their pod, Valentina and Bay.

I even got the chance to be one of the first non-behaviorists to give Valentina a rubdown! The best part about Dolphin Cay, aside from the amazing wild life, is that every visit supports the Atlantis Blue Project foundation.

And then … I had a time with Atlantis’ Aquaventure park! We learned all about the over 500 employees it takes to make the 140-acre space functional and then. It was my turn to take to the rides.

Now I’ve loved Aquaventure since I was a kid, and as you can see the thrill and excitement haven’t gotten old!

I think one thing this week has really left with me is that even after 25 years, the myth, magic, and wonder of the Royal Towers Atlantis experience is still as fresh and unique as eve
