NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The fight against food insecurity continuing to gain momentum as organizations partner to assist those in need.

This week, while speaking at a backyard farming kit distribution, Executive Director of Hands for Hunger, Keisha Ellis shares what her organization has discovered regarding the needs in the country.

Ellis says she is optimistic about a solution.

She says the wider public may have preconceived notions about those that are in need of assistance, however, she is looking to dispel those assumptions.

Ellis adding that she is hopeful that food insecurity can be tackled sooner, rather than later, simply by using our God given resources.
