This Is The Show I Have Always Dreamed Of Performing

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Guests from around the world and locals alike poured into the Atlantis Theatre on Wednesday evening for the highly anticipated premiere of The Magic of Rob Lake.

The event marked the beginning of world-renowned illusionist Rob Lake’s exciting summer residency, which runs until August 31st, 2025.

We spoke to the magician just minutes before his grand performance, where he fondly recalled his first appearance at the resort nearly a decade ago, back in 2015. Now, in 2025, he says this will be his biggest and most breathtaking show yet.

“It feels like a homecoming. I spent so much time in this theater, in this room. The show is built for the space. The first time was ten years ago, 2015, first time. We’ve brought a lot of new illusions to the show.”

The excitement was palpable as guests buzzed about what they hoped to see on stage.

“What magic trick do you want to see?”
“Somebody get cut in half. Is this your brother?”
“Yes.”
“I can tell. Why do you want to get sawed in half?”
“Idk, it sounds cool.”

“I want to see somebody disappear.”

I sat through the performance and while I won’t reveal what tricks Rob Lake has up his sleeves, I can tell you this, I was truly amazed by the artistry, the comical storytelling, and of course, the magic.
