USA – The cousin and goddaughter of British billionaire Hamish Harding has called for a full investigation into the deaths of the five Titan Submersible passengers.

Following the “Catastrophic implosion” the safety of the sub is being questioned.

Dik Barton, the first British man to dive to the wreck of the Titanic, questioned the design and maintenance of the sub, saying “There were many red flags flying here.”

However Oceangate’s co-founder, who left the firm a decade ago, told the BBC the sub went through a “Rigorous test programme”.
