NASSAU, BAHAMAS – As Bahamians continue to struggle with inflationary pressures, Central Bank Governor John Rolle says it’s too soon to say if we’ve seen the peek.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – As Bahamians continue to struggle with inflationary pressures, Central Bank Governor John Rolle says it’s too soon to say if we’ve seen the peek.
His comments came on the sidelines of a macroeconomic conference held by the bank this week.
In recent months, Bahamians have had to grapple with a rise and decline in fuel prices as well as the rise of food items like eggs.
Rolle says the latest data is from November and that model showed that inflation was still on the rise.
