UNITED STATES – Rapper Tory Lanez is in the hospital after being stabbed multiple times in prison.

The California Department of Corrections says the attack happened early Monday at the Tehachapi facility, where Lanez, whose real name is Daystar Peterson, is serving 10 years for shooting Megan Thee Stallion in 2020.
A post from Lanez’s verified instagram claims he was stabbed 14 times and suffered collapsed lungs, but is now breathing on his own and in good spirits.
His attorney confirmed the attack but says she’s still trying to get details.
An investigation is reportedly underway.
