Traffic Management Center Launched
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A significant milestone in the development of the city’s transportation infrastructure, as the Ministry of Works takes steps to becoming a smart city.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – It is being described as a significant milestone in the development of the city’s transportation infrastructure, as the Ministry of Works and Utilities takes steps to becoming a smart city.
Works Minister Alfred Sears giving an update today on the ministry’s traffic management centre, which he says is making substantial progress, as the first phase is near completion.
In this initial phase, Sears says 80% of traffic signals have been successfully upgraded with above ground detection cameras throughout the city.
