Trial Date Set for Bella Walker Case
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A trial date has been set for a man accused of the death of four-year-old D’onya “Bella” Walker.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A trial date has been set for a man accused of the death of four-year-old D’onya “Bella” Walker.
Darion Smith will stand trial for little Bella’s murder on November 7.
The trial is expected to last for two weeks.
Bella’s mother, Ostonya Walker, will stand trial alongside him on charges of child cruelty and exposing a child to grievous harm.
Bella died at the Princess Margaret Hospital on November 5, 2021 from injuries caused by blunt force trauma.
Smith and Walker are on bail.
